President Message – A message from Carol Brian

Welcome !!

Thank you for visiting the Lancaster Area Express Network website! We hope you spend some time getting to know a little about our Express Network, and make a reservation to visit us at one of our monthly meetings.  

ABWA’s theme this year is “Leading with Vision”. That’s exactly what we plan to do….provide you with our vision and give you the opportunity to jump on board. 

My message to you takes me back to Latin Class at my high school, and it is a very simple one. "Carpe Diem" – "Seize the Day”.  Even more than just the day, I challenge you to open yourself to ‘seize the opportunities’ and ‘seize the moments’ that can make a positive impact on your life. 

ABWA gives us countless opportunities to connect, network, learn, deepen friendships, make new friends and further our careers. As an Express Network, we will lay them out for you on the calendar, but it will be up to you to “Carpe Diem”. We are so excited for all that lies ahead and we hope you’ll join us as we “Seize the Day”! 

We rely heavily on the needs of our members who are annually surveyed, to provide us with valuable feedback so we can be the Express Network they want and need us to be! LAEN mentors and board members are available and happy to help! 

Upcoming opportunities await you this year and include:

• Mixers which spread the word about this dynamic group
• Annual Fall Gala in September which promises great program, great networking and great meal.
• ABWA National Women’s Leadership Conference in Chattanooga October 28-30.
• ABWA District Conferences
